About me

Scientist, teacher, student of life.

As a computational physiologist and applied mathematician, my research has lived at the intersection of mathematics, statistics, machine learning, and biology. I earned my PhD from North Carolina State University in 2019 constructing and validating mathematical models of cardiovascular control and autonomic function. I went on to postdoctoral work at the University of Michigan studying cardiac and cardiovascular dynamics.

Yoga entered my life not as a fitness pursuit but as a path back to myself. The practice gave me breath, introspection, and centeredness when outside forces had long dictated my well-being. That journey is now woven into everything I teach: science-informed, body-affirming, and always meeting you exactly where you are.
