Meet you where you are
To me, yoga is not only a physical expression but also an energetic one. For a significant portion of my life, outside forces dictated my health, well-being, and happiness. Yoga gave me the opportunity to take that back through breath, introspection, and centeredness.
A central motif in my classes is the cultivation of prana, focus, openness, and acceptance, whether in a high-intensity vinyasa or a low-impact deep stretch. I firmly believe that all poses are accessible with the right support, whether physical (blocks, strap, wall), emotional, mental, or spiritual.
My teaching is also grounded in science. As an applied mathematician and physiologist, I bring evidence-based anatomy, nervous system awareness, and breath physiology into every class and training.
